YMCA International Charity Runs

Unleash Potential is continuing the decades-long partnership with The National Council of YMCAs of Japan. The YMCA's annual country-wide charity runs - held in 21 locations with more than 14,000 runners - help to fund its Challenged Children programs (and are a lot of fun for participants and fans alike)!

The 2020 events were modified due to COVID-19, but they were still a success! Runners participated virtually and raised more than ¥16,000,000 for Challenged Children programs. Click the link below for information on this year's event schedule.

YMCA Seasonal Camps

The National Council of YMCAs of Japan holds several camps throughout the year to inspire growth for all ages. Support and medical personnel are on hand to ensure that children of all ability and need levels are taken care of. Each camp offers opportunities for children to build their self-esteem, enjoy nature, safely participate in physical activities, and of course -- have fun! The annual Friendship Camp, held in Tokyo, also provides space for Challenged Children and non-Challenged Children alike to interact and learn from one another, helping to destigmatize differences.

Learn more about each camp offered here.
