恒例のクリスマスチャリティーイベントでは、1,021,000円の寄付を募ることができました。障がいのある子ども達のために集まってくださった皆様ありがとうございました！
YMCA様およびプチ冒険クラブの寄付金授与式に加え、UPイベントにいつも参加くださっている増田さん親子がパラアスリートの現状についてプレゼンテーションをしてくださったことはUPの活動の意義を改めて認識することになりました。泰之さん、汐里さん、ありがとうございました。

Report : Christmas Charity Event 2023
Here is the update from the annual Holiday UP Charity event.
Thanks to all of our friends, we raised￥1,021,000.
We had YMCA International and Petite Adventure Club which is one of the recipients of the fund.
Another highlight was having Shiori Masuda with her father, Yasuyuki. They have been regular participants in UP events over the years and this time, Mr. Masuda presented about the environment surrounding Para-athletes in Japan.

Christmas Charity Event 2023
It’s that time of the year again! You are cordially invited to the seasonal celebration and Christmas charity event of NPO Unleash Potential, in aid of challenged children in Japan.

NPO法人アンリーシュポテンシャル、新理事長を発表
NPO法人アンリーシュポテンシャル（以下、UP）は、2023年4月19日に開催された総会において、新理事長・副理事長を選出し、同日付で就任いたしました。新理事長の坂巻ひとみと副理事長のポール・サバレーゼは、全理事からの支持を受け決定しました。
坂巻ひとみは、過去6年間にわたりUPの理事を務め、数々の募金活動やイベントを企画・実施する重要な役割を担ってきました。ポール・サバレーゼは、ヒトミに加わり、3,000,000円以上の資金調達に貢献しました。
NPO法人UPは、日本で65年以上の歴史を持ち、障がいを持つ子どもたちを中心に、「全ての子どもたちの可能性を引き出す」ことをミッションとしています。また、100年以上の歴史を持つ国際YMCAと長期的なパートナーシップを結び、チャレンジド・チルドレンを支援しています。
国際YMCAの田口努総主事は「UPとYMCAは、日本で数十年にわたってチャレンジド・チルドレン・プログラム（CCP）を共に支援してきた信頼できるパートナーです。新しいリーダーであるひとみとポールと協力し、募金活動やチャレンジド・チルドレンに関する教育支援など、プログラムを強化していくことを嬉しく思います」とコメントしています。
新会長の坂巻ひとみは「私たちはUPの活動を引き続き支援できることを光栄に思います。個人の支援者様および他の団体とのパートナーシップを広げていくことを楽しみにしています」とコメントしています。

NPO Unleash Potential announces The New Leadership of The Board
NPO Unleash Potential (UP) elected the new board chairperson and the vice-chairperson during the Annual General Meeting held on the 19th of April that is effectively immediately.
The new chairperson, Hitomi Sakamaki and the vice-chairperson, Paul Savarese received entire board members to support the decision.
Hitomi Sakamaki has been on the UP Board over the last six years and has played a critical role to organize and implement numerous fund-raising and networking events.
Paul Savarese has joined Hitomi and helped raise over 3,000,000yen to support the cause.
NPO UP has over 65 years of history in Japan which mission is to “Empower All Children to Unleash Their Potential” with the focus on Challenged Children.
UP has a long-term partnership with the YMCA International Japan which has over 100 years of supporting various communities including Challenged Children.
Kohei Taguchi, the executive director of the YMCA International, commented, “UP and YMCA are trusted partners supporting Challenged Children Program (CCP) together over decades in Japan. We are pleased to work with the new leadership, Hitomi and Paul, to continue strengthen our program including fund-raising and education on Challenged Children.”
The new chairperson, Hitomi Sakamaki, commented; “We are all honored to continue supporting the cause and I look forward to expanding partnership with other organizations as well as individual supporters.”
